CLI

Drive vvd from your terminal with the vvd command.

The vvd CLI wraps the platform API. Install it:

curl -fsSL https://vvd.world/cli/install.sh | sh
vvd login

vvd login opens the connect page in your browser — no key to paste.

The CLI works on every plan: building, running, and saving tools and apps is free. Commands that read or edit a world's content (vvd docs, vvd search, …) need the world to be on the Pro or Studio plan.

Worlds

vvd worlds # list your worlds
vvd worlds create "Eldermoor" --genre fantasy

Documents

A <world> argument accepts a world id, slug, or (unambiguous) name.

vvd docs eldermoor # list documents
vvd docs eldermoor --type timeline # filter by type
vvd docs create eldermoor "Sir Reginald" # a card by default
vvd docs create eldermoor "The War of Ash" --type timeline
vvd search eldermoor "dragon"

API keys

vvd keys # list
vvd keys create --label "CI"
vvd keys revoke <keyId>

MCP server

Serve MCP over stdio for a client that prefers a local process:

vvd mcp

Point your MCP client's command at vvd mcp. It proxies to the remote MCP endpoint using your stored login; all diagnostics go to stderr so the protocol stream on stdout stays clean.
